Steve Gardner

Natural History Cinematographer
Underwater Specialist
Lighting Cameraman

Since moving to Australia from England in 1991 I have worked in a variety of fields in Documentary and TV Broadcast production. I have worked on Documentary, Corporate, and Magazine style programs as well as some Commercial work.

My main area of interest is Natural History and Wildlife filmmaking with a specialty in underwater work and marine environments.

My background is in electronic engineering so I have designed and built a variety of specialised equipment for Underwater & Wildlife filming. I can also maintain and fix Video Cameras! A valuable skill when stuck in remote film locations of the world with a kit of temperamental electonics!!
